My Students

" The true strength of our classroom lies in the collaboration of learners not in the knowledge of one expert" In my classroom, we are family and a family enjoys working together. Working together helps my inquiring minds to gain a deeper understanding as they work towards self discovery. Help my students to better work together, so that they can continue to show improvement in their educational journey.

My Project

Collaborative learning has been shown to help students soar. "It allows us to know more than we are capable of knowing by ourselves." Traditional desk are boring and restricting. With round tables, I can group students better based on their needs. It will provide us with more room as my classroom is small.

I teach 7th grade Social Studies.

. This subject requires a lot of class discussion. Most of my students are low level learners who learn best from their peers. With round tables, students will be able to have better discussions which will in turn deepen their understanding of the topic.
