Innovation Station for STEM Nation!

Help me give my students an innovation station that fosters creativity and teamwork. The whiteboard tables will be added to a new conference area in the room where small groups of students meet for brainstorming and problem solving.

My Students

The STEM Nation workroom students are innovators, who collaborate to solve problems with creativity. They use the design process while working through a series of engineering problems. They pride themselves on their persistence when solving difficult problems. They have infectious enthusiasm to tackle tough ideas in teams. We encourage wild ideas and brainstorming to help this motivated group go the extra mile when working together. These engineers are exactly the kind of people we need to fix a broken world.

My Project

As part of the third year Project Lead the Way class, we will work in teams to solve local problems. Redesigning our space will serve as a way to foster team work and creativity. Our innovation station will allow more than 100 students each day to experience a space that thrives on creativity and collaboration.

Currently our space is mainly comprised of left over or broken tables from other parts of our school district.

We hope this new innovation space with whiteboard tables will act as a conference area for brainstorming sessions. Help us become innovators and problems solvers who just want to make the world better using engineering.
