Ink That Empowers: Writing IEPs for Student Success

Help me give my students printer ink, a keyboard stand, and a wrist rest so I can provide them with the individualized learning plans they need to succeed.

My Project

I teach in a small, rural, low-income school where every student’s needs and abilities are valued. Many of my students receive special education services, and it is my responsibility to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that reflect their strengths, challenges, and goals.

These IEPs are not just pieces of paper—they are roadmaps to help each child grow and thrive.

To write accurate, meaningful IEPs, I must print drafts, share them with teachers and parents, and make revisions before finalizing. Our printer is essential for this process, but ink is expensive and often not in our supply budget. In addition, writing IEPs requires long hours at my computer, and having a keyboard stand and wrist rest will allow me to work more comfortably and efficiently.

With this project, I am requesting:

-Printer ink to print IEP drafts and finalized plans

-A keyboard stand to improve ergonomics while typing

-A wrist rest to reduce strain during long work sessions

These simple tools will make a big difference in helping me create timely, thorough, and personalized plans for each child—because every student deserves a plan that works for them.
