My Project
I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping our classroom of English Language Learners (ELLs) unlock their creativity, build confidence, and explore the boundless world of STEAM. Our school serves 100% free lunch students, and our community faces many challenges, including limited access to STEAM resources outside of school. For many of my students, our classroom is more than a place to learn – it’s a safe haven, a learning lab, and one of the few environments where they can dream, explore, and create without limits.
This year, we want to bring more hands-on STEAM projects to our classroom through the addition of a Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer.
With this tool, our students would be able to bring their designs to life, develop problem-solving skills, and explore new STEAM concepts in a way that feels meaningful to them. The DTF printer would allow us to create custom designs for projects that could spark inspiration and pride while also providing a way to integrate science, technology, engineering, art, and math in an engaging, practical format.
Currently, my students don’t have access to STEAM opportunities beyond our classroom. With your support, they would gain experiences that help them develop skills crucial for success in school and beyond. A DTF printer would empower them to create, innovate, and see their hard work materialize in real time, a chance they might not otherwise have.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to making this opportunity a reality for our students. Thank you for considering investing in their future and in the power of learning.
