I teach in one of the largest school districts in the country at a low income/high performing elementary school. My students are a mix of special needs and general education Kindergarten students.
My students are little sponges that are ready to learn and grow!
Many students come to Kindergarten without basic skills and need a lot of assistance in basic early childhood skills such as social skills, book handling, crayon and pencil skills, and fine motor development. They are awesome little people that deserve the very best!
Our students LOVE to share what we're learning with photo projects! Please help us by funding ink for our color printer so that we can make various activities such as; science journals, holiday projects, gifts for their families, photo books, and memory books.
The teachers lay the foundation, but our hands-on activities have helped the students to be in charge of their own learning and have really helped them take ownership of their own academic goals.
By providing accessories, we will be able to get more students onto our online materials each day and give our classroom projects more pizazz.
