My Project

The best part of teaching second grade is the students. At this age, students are naturally curious and willing to take a risk with their learning. They are learning how to get along with their classmates and still love pleasing their teacher.

My classroom aims to meet the needs of all my students; we use flexible seating options, individual learning opportunities, and various opportunities to demonstrate learning.

Students thrive with these individualized approaches to learning, and the joy they feel when mastering new skills is palpable. My students work hard and love to learn and grow.

I am requesting ink to print the projects my students work hard to create! My students love to create and share their work. While it is fun to share via a tablet or computer screen, holding your hard work in your hands is much more of a reward.

Ink for my classroom printer would allow my students to print their work and bring it home with them.

While ink for a printer may be an unusual "Back to School" basic, it would allow my students to then share their work with other people without the need for technology or a compatible device. While ink seems like a boring item to request, the impact it will have on my students will be far from boring.
