Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We have some amazing students at our High School. We wish we could provide them with all the supplies, materials, and essentials this world has to offer. We want them to be successful not only in our classrooms, but also in their future.
There will be great math puzzles, activities, and games that challenge students to think and go further than they ever thought possible.
We will challenge the quiet students to speak up and voice their opinions, because what they have to say matters. We will challenge the problem solvers to come up with explanations and justifications using words, tables, and drawings. We will challenge those with little math confidence to not be afraid of making mistakes and to always ask questions.
My Project
The classroom printer is used to print the master copy of every assignment, that includes: notes, homework, class work, projects, quizzes, and tests. The master copy is the one that we take to the copy machine to make enough copies for all students. Unfortunately, the little red light on the classroom printer has turned on, which means that the ink is low. I would normally ask the Math Department Chair for more, but we have spent our budget on paper and one cartridge of ink for each teacher. Without ink I will have to run around to find another classroom and teacher to let me print out my master copies. Please help me be efficient and maximize student learning by donating ink to our classroom printer!
