Infusing STEM in the Middle School Classroom

My students need hands-on games and manipulatives, such as the "Middle School Math Game Kit", to engage learning and facilitate problem-solving skills.

My Students

We are a Title 1 school with limited resources and opportunities. Many of our students come from high poverty situations. However, our students work hard each and every day. If you were to walk into our classrooms, you would see students from different walks of life and different ability levels all collaborating on individual goals at the same time. Our class is a unique blend of personalities and we are all special in our own ways!

For many of our students the way for them to rise above their situations is to get an education and as educators, we want to provide students with meaningful opportunities to learn and succeed.

My Project

Our students need to be engaged and active in their learning. Math 24 Variables Single Double Digit games will be used in small group and station rotations. Our students will use the Equation tiles to become better algebraic thinkers. Our goal as educators is to prepare our students for success.

Through collaboration and critical thinking in games, such as Math 24, our students will be challenged and better equipped for life beyond the classroom.

With the Middle School Mathematics game kit students will use strategical mathematical thinking in finding various strategies to solve problems from an assortment of math concepts.
