My students need informational books that will allow them to see various ways of writing informational text. They will then complete research on the topics such as the inventors of Lego's and compose a book.
I have the great pleasure of teaching a group of 29-third grade students. Our school community has come together to provide a great place for students to thrive socially and academically. We are working on growing our minds with a growth mindset at all times.

My Project
Informational writing is a big part of third grade. Students begin to do research and need examples of how informational books are designed. These books will allow my students to see various ways to write informational text. My third grade students can also begin to understand how to complete a research project and report back on the information such as the invention of bubble gum.
Students will then be able to publish their very own books on their topic of choice.
The blank books are written in by students and covers will be painted. This project will allow students to feel like a real published author.
