Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have our recess time in the morning, and during the colder months, it is hard to get outside with the class when not all students have the appropriate outdoor clothing.

I would love to use indoor recess time as an additional learning time, but in a more fun and creative way!

My students have such wonderful imaginations. I would love to help them foster their creativity during a better planned and equipped indoor recess time with building blocks and magnetic building tiles. While going outside to let the energy loose will always be the first option, I would like to offer a better second option than what we have now.
