Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach a wonderful group of kindergarten and first graders who are eager to learn. On Fridays and during indoor recess, students often have the opportunity to play cooperative games. I believe they provide a well-deserved break while building skills like turn-taking, language development, critical thinking, and good sportsmanship. Additionally, each year our district has an event called Take a Father to School Day. We would love to set up a game room for the families to enjoy with their children. I look forward to sharing games with my hard-working students and their families.
