Indoor Recess Fun!

Help me give my students games to play when recess is cancelled because of inclement weather!

My Project

Chicago winters can be brutal. Our weather can go from 50 degree to 5 degrees below zero in one week! If the weather is below 30 degrees students can not go out for recess and must instead stay in the classroom for indoor recess. My students have told me that there isn't much to do when recess is indoors.

The students report that our class doesn't have sufficient fun.

They got together and submitted a proposal for games that would make indoor recess a lot better when they can't go out. I have good students and am responsive to their voices when they have suggestions on how to improve our learning environment. The games they've asked for are educational and this would be an excellent way to give them a hard earned break.
