Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful, quirky, little children who are eager learners who are constantly asking questions and wanting to learn more. Their bright personalities light up the class, constantly discussing materials we have learned, going to learn and asking questions about how to be better. They are also active learners who want hands on materials to touch, feel, build and learn with each other. With such sparkling and brilliant futures ahead - my students need manipulative for hands-on learning through play to keep their curious minds going.

My Project

With crazy weather and indoor recess being utilized during the winter and spring months, my students need hands on activities that are both educational and fun! And, what a better way to spend a rainy, cold afternoon with some super cool puzzles, word building activities and flash cards? Students love these activities, allow them to build social skills together while they problem solve and create together! It really expands their ability to become leaders within the classroom and deepens their knowledge without them even knowing they are learning. Students will be able to use these resources beyond indoor recess as well as students can use them during centers and morning tubs as well.
