Indoor Recess Equipment

Help me give my students indoor recess materials to build their motor skills and confidence.

My Project

It is winter in Minnesota, and we have had many days so far that have been too cold for outdoor recess. When the weather is freezing or raining, my students need materials to engage them in large motor movements and play in the classroom.

These dancing scarves, stepping stones, balance beams, and tunnel will keep my class moving and having fun all school year long!

Students will be able to practice their large motor movement skills of balancing, traveling, and controlling their movements while playing with peers.

Movement is so important for young bodies and brains to practice skills and build confidence. These materials would benefit my whole class this year and for years to come.
