Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a very diverse group! We come from all walks of life, with different cultures, beliefs, morals, and appearances. However, one thing we all have in common is the desire to have fun! When we are stuck inside during recess, when we want to turn learning into a game, or when we simply want to do a craft to take home, we need resources to make it happen. Oftentimes, students need a break from the demanding nature of school, and I want to be able to provide a space for them where they can take this well-deserved break. The games will not only be used for fun, but they will also be turned into learning opportunities! For example, Twister can be turned into a game of left and right. Additionally, the crafts and art supplies can be used for learning activities during SEL time and for activities such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, and my personal favorite, Valentine's Day!
