My Project

One of my goals in science this year is to encourage students to think about how they can positively impact the earth, reduce waste, and to consider practical ways to reduce our contribution to pollution. We've been gardening and composting in the warmer months, and students have been loving spending time in the dirt. I would like to bring that experience inside the classroom with indoor composting. It would be valuable for students to see first hand how their fruit and vegetable waste can be turned back into healthy dirt.
