Individualized Games and Organization to Slow the Spread of COVID.

Help me give my students a communication station, and games for opportunities to play individual math games. My students need to be organized due to absenteeism because of COVID.

My Students

At our elementary school, we have wonderful, bright young students who are excited about learning. They are like sponges soaking in everything we offer them as teachers. We try to teach the individual child the best we can. As teachers of young students, it can be challenging to reach them on an individual basis to meet their differing strengths and challenges. Covid has added extra challenges with meeting my students' needs.

One of the ways we can differentiate and meet the individual needs of our students is through technology.

We have state-funded programs that are adaptable for our students. It allows our higher learners to go as far as they are able without putting limits on their abilities. For our kiddos that struggle, these programs act as critical interventions to reinforce and strengthen areas they struggle in. Extra resources will benefit my struggling students because of absences due to Covid.

My Project

Before Covid, my students were able to engage in partner and group games. Covid has made it necessary to find activities that students can do independently based on their own skill levels. Having Math games they can play on their own will allow me to work with students one on one to better meet their needs.

Organization is very important right now.

I've got so many kids missing school because of Covid related illnesses. I need tthe communication station for a good system to organize the work they need to take home, return, and complete so they don't fall behind.
