Our building services students who are from low-income areas. We have a diverse equity representation. All students rely on the school for their breakfast and lunch needs, supplies, and any additional needs (housing assistance, clothing, homelessness, extra meals). Our classrooms for students with special needs are in need of task card storage for the task cards that we will be creating.
Our students do best with hands-on activities and having task card storage would help us be able to create more for them to use.
Task cards are instructional tools that present small, manageable activities or questions designed to target specific skills or concepts. In a special education classroom, they are especially helpful because they break down tasks into clear, bite-sized steps, making learning more accessible for students with diverse needs. Task cards promote independent work, reinforce concepts, and can be tailored to a student's individual learning level. They also provide flexibility, allowing teachers to use them in various settings, such as centers, one-on-one instruction, or group activities, making learning engaging and structured. These storage boxes not only make it easy to keep everything together in one spot, but also allows students to take 1 small box at a time to complete their task.
