Individual Student Supplies During COVID

Help me give my students some sustainable reusable classroom supplies during this time of "being safe" and social distancing and not sharing supplies.

My Students

My students are Special! I teach Special Education K-5. I have students that have autism, ADHD, emotional problems, adoption issues, family problems, other health impairments, and learning disabilities/dyslexia. I currently enjoy 25 students coming to my classroom every day.

I have 24 students, 4 of which receive 2 hours of instruction a day in the Resource classroom, with 4 students that have been referred for testing, which could bring my numbers up to 28 students.

Due to COVID, I cannot (and do not) have my students share pencils or any other individual items. I bought some very cheap pencil boxes for each student, that are already falling apart, as well as file folder boxes made of cardboard that are falling apart. My budget is getting close to zero and it is only October! It's a Halloween scary story right there!

My Project

If we have to work remotely from home, these students could take their individual pencil boxes and book boxes, as well as, writing journals home to work on until they can return to school. Currently they all have a reading textbook and workbook, Topic Math packets, folders to hold their reinforcement "star chart", pencil box and writing journal.

These sustainable products will be invaluable if we stay in person or work remotely from home to keep things organized.

The students will be able to find the items they need at home and at school.
