This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My district has an amazing group of students. All students come from different backgrounds, families and homes. I am a brand new teacher and would love any amount of help. My students work so hard and can achieve so much with the right materials. I am so proud of how far they have come. I thank you in advance.

By working together, I hope to create a compassionate community in my classroom.

My Project

This project will support the need for students to have their school materials accessible from their own desk in this upcoming school year. It will be difficult to store student items than in previous years due to Covid-19. I plan to put seat sacks on the students' chairs for notebooks, folders, and workbooks. Their cups will be placed on their desks to store their own pencils, scissors, glue sticks, and more, as needed. These materials will help students keep their materials safe from others in their individualized pouches and sturdy cups!
