Individual Math Manipulative Kits

Help me give my students various math manipulatives for individual math kits this coming year.

My Students

I love my students and will do anything for them to help them succeed! This year I have the opportunity to open a new public elementary school. I do know that my new students are from a growing community and this will be their second or third school. Many of them will be a bit apprehensive as they don't know who will be in their class or know any of the new staff members and teachers.

I am so excited to build the culture of this school and meet the new families that will come for an amazing education.

My Project

With the opening of schools this coming year we are changing the way things are done in the classroom. I will be making individual math kits for each student so that students will not have to share items.

As much as I teach my students to share, this year will be different.

Each student will need an individual math box with manipulatives that will be used during math.

These kits will be kept at their desk and can be accessed throughout the day. This will eliminate the need to have community items that are not safe during COVID19.
