Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This is my 17th year teaching at a Title I school. I love my students and want to see them succeed in school and in life.

My students have enjoyed playing with our magnetic tiles all year, and I would love to be able to give each of them a set of their own to take home on the day of our Kindergarten Celebration.

It would be a great way to end the school year and thank my students for all of their hard work.

It has been wonderful watching my students build different creations while learning to get along with their friends, cooperate, share, problem-solve, and use their imaginations. I want them to be able to experience that joy at home during the summer too.
