This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I'm teaching 7th and 8th grade math. By the end of the year, I want all of my students to be achieving at or above grade level and to have grown to be more confident, self-motivated learners.

I work in a small school in a large urban district, and as a result, we're often lacking resources.My students work hard every day and deserve to have the resources they need to learn best.

I'm requesting mini/individual dry erase boards, erasers, and markers for my students to use in math class. This will not only help save paper, but is a more engaging way for my students to do their work and not use up all the pages of their math notebooks. I would be able to use these materials this year as well as in future years.
