My students are great! They are ready to learn when they come into class. There are many smiling faces in my classroom. The girls will come into class and give me huge hugs. The boys will come into class and give me fist bumps. I love these little kiddos because they are full of energy and just want to participate in all aspects of school. Many of my students are EL students and they just love to participate and help where they can. My students are quiet and I love to hear them when they have a suggestion or a question.
My Project
Help my students get their own art supplies during COVID-19 restrictions. We are 100% in person but with COVID-19 I want all students to have their own supplies to work with.
Working in small groups is harder in COVID with the social distancing so having their own supplies at their desks are ideal.
I am also asking for more pencils that should last us the rest of the year. I have students keep 5 pencils in their pencil boxes, but sometimes they are lost and disappear. I would love to have them for all students when they lose their other pencils.
I am asking for paint as well to bring more creativity into the classroom and paint different things for the seasons during the rest of the year.
