Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a special education teacher, I have the best job in the world! My job is to teach these children the strategies they need to read and practice, practice, practice! I want to help them discover the special gifts each one of them holds inside and help them reach their full potential.

This year I have the opportunity to work with students and teachers throughout all areas of special education.

My students range in gifts, abilities, and grade levels 6-8. Currently, there are 16 students on my roster but students can be added at any time. My kiddos are the most awesome, supportive, and nurturing individuals you will ever meet. They all work extremely hard to accomplish their academic goals.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door!

The carpet and couch will help student feel more comfortable as they learn and complete work!The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place.

The couch will give students a comfortable place away from their work desks which they will be able to complete work!
