My Project

As an educator for 9 years this is my first time in 3rd grade. I knew as soon as our school year began creating a library with novels specifically loved by third graders was a goal of mine.

Reading is so monumentally important and with the increase of technology, reading has unfortunately become less appealing to children.

However, with the help of generous donors my library was off to a great start and my students have gladly grabbed a book and set on our carpet for independent reading time.

As our school year comes close to an end I would like to add to our library for not only my present students to enjoy, but, for the decades of children that will walk through my classroom doors. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, the impact this has on children is immeasurable.
