They were fascinated by the movement and colors, and it immediately became a peaceful, grounding activity for many of them.\r\n\r\nWe use the Cozy Corner daily, not just for reading, but also as a calm-down space where students practice self-regulation strategies we learn during SEL lessons. The sensory elements have been especially helpful for students who benefit from movement and tactile input.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue incorporating the space into our literacy block and SEL routines, helping students build both academic stamina and emotional awareness.
