Independent Learning Is Hands-on and Fun!

Help me give my students hands-on literacy and handwriting materials to enhance reading and writing learning stations. My students need differentiated learning experiences; therefore, these hands-on materials will impact independent learning stations to meet their unique needs.

My Students

My kindergarten students are vibrant, enthusiastic about learning, and adore their class family. Students in my class come from diverse urban areas of our school community but in our classroom, we vibe as one compassionate family.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching my young learners immerse themselves into education while learning through technology, hands-on exploration, social and dramatic play, and reading.

My Project

Kindergarteners are learning so much, so fast! One way they are expected to learn is independently, which can be challenging for them. While my students are working independently, I am teaching small groups. To help my students build their independent learning skills, it is vital for them to have interactive, hands-on, fun learning tools.

The items carefully chosen in my Project are teaching tools that my little learners will love and be motivated to choose during independent working times.

These explorative literacy activities will require my students to use higher-level thinking and challenge them, no matter what learning level they are on or teaching style they need.
