Independent Games So Centers Won't Be Lame

My students need various levels of file folder games that can be played independently while I teach small groups.

My Students

Each year I work with groups of second graders of varying abilities. I may have some students reading on a third grade level and then some students who are still learning the alphabet. These differences are addressed in small group instruction, but what about when they are away from the teacher?

My students love to learn; they soak up anything I can give them!

But when they have to do independent work, if something is too hard or too easy, that's when they become distracted or worse, give up. Wouldn't it be great to help them stay engaged and further that love of learning even when they are not with the teacher?

My Project

This is where you, wonderful Donors Choose Donor, come in. I try to make games for them that will reach them where they are, but the games are not as fun or colorful and making games takes a lot of time and effort -- time and effort that I'd rather spend teaching or planning better lessons to meet their needs. The games I'm asking for are pre-made, inspiring, and on multiple grade levels with multiple skills addressed. My kids won't want to stop doing centers when they see these!
