Independence for Students with Dyslexia

My students need a WizCom Reading Pen to help them read with independence and be more inspired to learn!

I work in a classroom with 6th grade students who have special needs. Some students have learning disabilities, autism, hearing difficulties and other issues that keep them from learning in a conventional setting.

Many of my students can not read above the first grade level. They are very smart and understand when words are read to them, but when asked to read directions or a text book on their own, they are stuck and must wait for an adult to read to them.

With the help of generous and thoughtful donors, I can receive a Reading Pen to use in my classroom. The students can run the pen across text and hear it read out loud, or through headphones (if they wan privacy). This will help many students gain independence and a love for learning.

Your help will ensure that my students will continue to succeed and be inspired to learn more from written materials!
