Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are goal oriented and driven middle schoolers. One area of growth for our students is we want to take their leadership skills to the next level by starting at school and then branching out into the community.

In April we will be selecting our first group of students to become STEM ambassadors.

The goal is to provide students with opportunities for them to develop their individual leadership skills. Students will use the binders and tab dividers to plan and organize meetings, projects, and outreach. Students will also use the color copy paper, colored pencils, pens, sticky notes, erasers, and pencils as they prepare for activities and events.
