My students need a white board that will maximize and engage student learning! This is much cheaper than a Smartboard, but it can be shared with the other teachers in my grade, or used by my special educator.

My Students

In our class we work together as a family to create the best atmosphere for learning. We work hard and encourage each other to persevere to fully understand the material we are learning. We challenge each other and ask deep questions to one another.

In our class we have a diverse population, with diverse needs.

In order to reach all of my students, we offer choice and a variety of methods of learning. My favorite way to engage students is through technology, but the students also gravitate towards their interests and hobbies to provide evidence of learning. They are so creative and unique. I learn so much from my students every single day!

My Project

The interactive smart board is a portable white board that can turn any material into an interactive whiteboard that connects to a laptop. This will make such a huge difference in the way that students are taught and even in the student engagement in the class!

Students will be able to write, drag, drop, and draw on using the interactive smart board tool and will be so much more engaged/excited about learning!

Because it is portable, it is not stuck in one classroom! We can take it to go - share it with other teachers, or even have the special educator teaching with this as I'm teaching something else.
