My Students

I teach high school sophomores at CCHS. My students, like all students are outstanding and resourceful! They have adjusted to online learning, remote learning, in person learning and everything in between! They are awesome and ready to go forth and be successful!

My class consists of over 175 kids from various ethnic and economic backgrounds.

They all come together to conquer mathematics on a daily basis. I’m the last year and a half they have dealt with social distancing, wearing of masks, different teaching and learning sitauations and none of it has slowed them down!

My Project

As a school we have had to adjust to a new reality of in person learning, mixed with online learning, and remote learning. With this have come some new challenges and discoveries through technology. I have seen colleagues who are very effectively using iPads to make it easier to share student work on the overhead in real time while allowing students to interact with that work. Additionally, it allows a class period of notes to be saved and uploaded directly online for remote and online learning. Overall it would increase classroom interaction for our students while also easing the transition for online and remote learning where needed.
