My Students
My best friend and I have the privilege of educating the youth of our community together, in our First Grade co-taught inclusion classroom in Worcester, MA. Our energetic students are excited to learn, play, and grow. Our school community includes children and families from many diverse backgrounds and abilities. We have a passion to promote a safe and supportive learning environment for our students to feel comfortable taking learning risks. In order to create this environment, we believe in the diversity of children’s literature.
Our students deserve and have the right to see themselves represented in positive ways in our classroom libraries, on our walls, and in our resources.
My Project
As educators, we devote our time to creating lessons that captivate our students. Getting a gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow us to provide our first-grade scholars with culturally responsive and inclusive resources to include in our daily lessons.
These resources will allow us to plan engaging lessons that build character, promote social justice, and support social-emotional learning.
Please help us provide mindfully crafted instruction to help strengthen our student's critical thinking skills, social-emotional health, and character virtues. This project will help enrich our student's experiences not only in our classroom but also in their communities.
