My Project

We are actively promoting trauma informed practices at our school as a part of our action plan this year. Trauma it seems is a term that is relatively new to the field of education, but is so essential to develop awareness of this subject as it will affect student achievement in all areas. I am asking for materials to construct a sensory/calm down corner. I am a teacher who is forever grateful for the impact this organization has made in my own classroom, and I would love to share that with my colleagues.
