Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The goal of this project is to help students find new ways to learn when the weather is not optimal for physical activity outside. My goal is to increase communication among my students and help build social negotiation skills that are required when playing games together. Board games have positive effects on various outcomes, including educational knowledge, cognitive functions, physical activity, anxiety, and ADHD symptoms.

Board games are known for enhancing the interpersonal interactions and motivation of participants, and promoting learning.

In addition, yoga, with the requested yoga mats, can assist their development, increase their well-being, reduce everyday stress, facilitate weight management, and mitigate emotional and behavioral problems, aside from being a supplement to improve focus and attention.
