This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are receiving powerful motivation through food rewards.

These incentives are used to assist children in learning and achieving immediate and short-term goals in classroom assignments.

Sweet treats are also often used to reward or recognize students for good behavior and grades. Our students seem to modulate their behaviors in order to receive the wonderful treats we have available for them when they display school appropriate behaviors throughout the week. Students are now self-regulating and we have had fewer behavioral outburst because students have a desired goal to work towards.
