Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
GCHS is dedicated to providing academic and social education to emergent multilingual high school students. Our goal is for our students to graduate as English learners and be able to pursue their goals in their future paths.
I like to offer a welcoming and nurturing environment for my students new to the United States.
For many, our school is their safe space and family away from home. Our students are also contributing individuals who work to help their families or care for themselves. When they come to my classroom, I like to have items to make them feel special.
Students earn PBIS reward points for positive behavior and can use them to get items from my store. My store varies from snacks to fun school supplies. This project will help me replenish my classroom store and my student needs.
