Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The new school year is quickly approaching. For us that means a new batch of 22 four year old friends. Some will come in on the first day excited to learn but others will come in possibly nervous or scared.
My goal as their teacher is to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment that gets them excited to learn and sparks their curiosity!
In order to do this I rely heavily on donors like you. I am requesting supplies that we use during the school year such as lamination sheets, prizes for my prize box, a new drawing center, new math games, and letter recognition games. All these items will be an important part in developing many skills students need to succeed academically and socially.
