Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are curious, playful, energetic, and excited; yet, they are nervous about the eighth grade and doing well academically so they can get admitted into a selective enrollment high school.
Because many of my kids have had a sibling with me before, they know my expectations for them.
They do their best to give one hundred percent academically. However, sometimes it is hard when they have responsibilities at home, like taking care of younger siblings or cooking the meals, while parents are working.

COVID-19 does not discriminate! And classrooms are no exceptions!
As I prepare to receive some of my beautiful 8th graders to in-person learning, I need help with equipping my classroom with much-needed supplies such as individual hand sanitizers and tissue for all, a self-serving rack for folded paper towels dispenser (rather than rolls where all can touch), and aprons for me are must-have in order to protect ourselves from this 'invisible' bacteria raising havoc around the world...and even in classrooms!
Greeting my kids with their own hygiene items and booties for their shoes would be an amazing gift!
