I teach at a Title I school with a high poverty rate. Most of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches. They come from working class people with low incomes. Our school is a K-6 with 800 students. We have a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds with many being Hispanic, Punjabi, a African American, and Arabic. Many of my students are English language learners. Our population continues to grow, and we are fortunate to have such a diverse group of kids in our classrooms.
Being able to print my student's work in color would be exciting. I teach 5th grade and my kids work hard to create interesting and exciting projects, write impressive essays, and work hard developing slides.
Printing everything in black and white is boring!
I want to excite my kids about printing their work, and what better way than having a color printer. My students' work is amazing, but when it's printed in black and white, it is not appealing to the eye. Color brings things to life, so I want to bring my kids work to life.
Imagine the excitement of printing in color when all you've had is black and white.
