My Project

Hands-on learning can be extremely beneficial for students with autism, as it allows them to engage with the material in a concrete and tangible way. This type of learning can help students with autism better understand concepts, retain information, and improve their overall academic performance.

In a classroom setting, hands-on learning can be incorporated in a variety of ways.

For example, students can use manipulatives such as electronic car kit, the Japace 4-in-1 Science Kit or other requested resources to solve math problems, conduct science experiments to learn about the natural world, or engage in sensory activities to explore new concepts.

Hands-on learning can also help students with autism develop important social skills, such as cooperation, teamwork, and communication. Working on hands-on activities from the WILD ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE Climate Change kit in a group setting can provide opportunities for my students to practice these skills in a supportive environment.

Overall, incorporating hands-on learning into the classroom can create a more engaging and inclusive learning environment for students with autism. By providing opportunities for hands-on exploration and discovery, I hope to help my students with autism build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
