Improving My Teaching Through a Social Lens

I need books about history, race, and identity to guide my planning and instruction.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Batdorf's classroom raised $353

This project is fully funded

My Project

As an educator, it is my responsibility to continue to learn and grow. Our schools do not exist in a vacuum and neither do our students. Part of my professional growth should always center around social reforms and how best to support my students in the context of society.

While it is important to know and understand the societal forces that impact education, it is even more important to know how to improve them.

The requested resources will help me to gain a better understanding of how things currently work, as well as offer suggestions and concrete examples of how to make things better.
