My Project

As an art educator, my department is deeply committed to fostering a creative and enriching learning environment for our students. Help bring a class set of art magazine subscriptions to our high school art students.

The objective of this project is to enhance the reading skills of our high school art students by providing them with regular access to art magazines.

Art magazines offer a unique blend of visual inspiration and written content that can stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. By incorporating these resources into our curriculum, we aim to improve students' literacy skills while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the arts.

Goals and Objectives:

Improve Reading Proficiency: Integrate art magazines into our curriculum to encourage students to engage with written content related to art, thereby enhancing their reading proficiency.

Broaden Cultural Awareness: Expose students to a diverse range of artistic styles, movements, and cultural perspectives through the content found in art magazines.

Foster Creativity and Critical Thinking: Use art magazines as a tool to inspire creativity and critical thinking by encouraging students to analyze and discuss articles, interviews, and art critiques.
