This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What could be more frustrating for students than to hear "our classwork couldn't be printed because the school printer is broken...again?" Our school is unable to maintain a reliable printer for teachers or students.

My students live in a low-income neighborhood with little academic support at home.

They love coming to school and working on projects, but the lack of reliable supplies often prevents them from engaging in this type of learning. They are never more proud than when they are showing off their latest production!

My Project

I am requesting a printer, ink, and paper for our classroom. Our school's printer has been broken for weeks, creating another barrier for student learning and achievement. Having a printer in the classroom will cut down on the uncertainty that clouds my lesson planning and encourage further student achievement.

Your support will bring more stability to my instruction and my students' classroom experience.

Students will have more projects and group learning and be less tethered to the textbook with reliable access to a printer!
