Important Resources for Independent Work Time

Help me give my students independent work time tools such as primary writing journals and sensory boards that will make independent work time efficient, engaging, and practical.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In the 21st century, math, computer, and science skills are vital but resources can be expensive, and public schools across the country are struggling to stay up-to-date when facing budget cuts.

My goal is to make sure all my students have an equal shot at a great education by providing them with a variety of digital and hands-on lessons on a daily basis and to make sure that they also enjoy learning with a variety of resources.

My class has children from culturally, economically, and educationally diverse backgrounds. I want to provide them with stimulating lessons and access to resources that they cannot get without guidance. These resources will provide many learning experiences and lessons for them.

My Project

The requested supplies will be used by all students in my class! With the pandemic, it is so important each student has their own supplies.

Tools such as primary writing journals and sensory boards will make independent work time easier and practical.

Students will be able to practice writing carefully with the primary lined journals. These journals will help develop their legibility and improve the writing process.

The sensory boards will be used for phonics and math time activities. The sensory boards will encourage learning and allow kids to relieve their anxiety with the ‘pop’ sensory tool. By pressing bubbles of the Push Pop Bubble Fidget Toy, kids will feel a sense of calm and a change in mood. These sensory items will be a fun and captivating way to learn.

Students will love using these items this new year!
