iMovie With a MacBook Air

Help me give my students a MacBook Air to work together to create movies using iMovie.

My Students

There are many types of students with different learning styles, including English Language Learners, Special Education students, and Gifted & Talented students. Our school provides a welcoming environment for parents, students, and community members.

The students in my school come from a diverse community in Queens, NY.

They are energetic and always ready to learn and explore new, exciting topics while working with each other in the classroom. They look forward to engaging activities, especially when it comes to technology.

My Project

My students have asked me on many occasions to create movies using iMovie. We don't have any Mac computers in the building so every time they ask I have to tell them we can't. This is why I am asking for the MacBook Air.

I would love to make their dream come true and have a computer to work on so they can create the movies using a new MacBook Air.

They could use the other programs on the MacBook to create presentations and posters. This would be a wonderful opportunity expose the students to a different operating system and teach them the difference between a Mac and PC.
