Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hardworking individuals, and they constantly want to please. They deserve to have the opportunity to receive all the help that is available to them. They come from a rough neighborhood surrounded by high poverty and crime. Despite their hardships, they rarely miss a day of school.

My students come from low-income households, and they don't have much at home to offer to the school when it comes to supplies.

Many times, they come to school hungry and in need of hygiene supplies. We provide free breakfast and lunch to all children. What they do have to provide are big hearts and brains ready to be filled with new and exciting information.

My Project

Covid 19 new variant has hit many children in our school community. We don't know how bad the situation will get so we need to prepare ourselves for the worst in order for us teachers and students to protect each other from this virus. We teachers are in mandatory use of KN-95 mask use and need enough to last the school year. Children go through many masks a day, especially when their mask breaks or gets wet and they do not have another one to use. Please help support us by making this project come to life. Thank you so much.
