Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-K students live in a very low-income area in Dallas, Texas. In our school, our goal is to prepare them with the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful. My students range in age from early four to early five. They are eager to learn new things and engage in fun and exciting learning activities. They like to learn by playing games, creating, and teaching each other and me.

My students make me smile every day and give me the inspiration to do my best in the classroom.

My Project

Please allow my students to have the materials they need to continue to create their masterpieces. I want my students to have everything they need to continue creating. They have vivid imaginations and I want them to have great materials to match it.

If children have practice thinking creatively, it will come naturally to them now and in their future career.

Simple things like holding a paintbrush and scribbling with a crayon are an important element to developing a child’s fine motor skills. Art education teaches students how to interpret, criticize, and use visual information, and how to make choices based on it.
