Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is a full day program with a half day PreK curriculum. We meet the needs of Colorado Preschool Program, Special needs, and tuition children.

My Project
My Students are in need of a new dollhouse and storytelling puppets. Also, we would like to ask for pattern block builders. I am requesting some inexpensive learning tools. To most people they look like basic toys. Preschoolers learn from their play. With these tools, my preschoolers will be working on their language and social skills.
All preschoolers love to retell stories they have heard or things they have learned about in their play.
Puppets and visuals through stories give preschoolers an opportunity to hear lots of rhymes and patterns since most of them are English Language Learners. By hearing the stories, students will be exposed to lots of new words that they haven't heard and then retell them in their play.
